The guard-gated community of Mirabel, whose name means “to look at beauty”, is located just south of Cave Creek Road. The community has won a number of awards from AZ Foothills Magazine including Best Golf Community, Best Private Club, Best Pro-Shop, and Best 19th Hole in Arizona.
The community combines dramatic scenic views with luxury homes and an award-winning private golf club. The guard-gated community has 345 home sites scattered across 700 acres. In Mirabel, you can find spacious custom and semi-custom luxury homes with golf course views as well as custom lots. At nearly 3,000 feet in elevation, not only is Mirabel cooler than other areas in the valley, but Mirabel’s home sites have panoramic views of the valley, Pinnacle Peak and the Continental Mountain range.
The Mirabel club is relatively small, and recently lowered its membership cap to 275 golf members and 50 social members. Tom Fazio, who designed the par-71, 7,000 yard course, believes that with Mirabel’s “impressive amenities, no debt, and supportive membership, Mirabel offers the best combination you can ask for in a private club”. In addition to the golf course, Mirabel’s rustic desert lodge clubhouse has a spa, salon, pool, fitness center, clay tennis court complex and dining room, which serves everything from barbecue to gourmet meals.
School-aged children in the Mirabel community generally attend the following schools in the Cave Creek Unified School District: Black Mountain Elementary School, Sonoran Trails Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School.
